Can anyone with a Greyhawk or similar unit, tell me how many AC outlets
are "served" by the inverter. My unit has the Xantrex RS400, which
from all accounts is a very good unit. I assume just the outlets that
the TV and DVD are plugged into are the only outlets that are wired to
the inverter. I know I can check this myself when I get time, I just
thought somebody might know the answer from personal experience. I just
assumed that with that size inverter they would not have "all" of the
outlets inline with it. Thanks.

just powers up the entertainment center. We have friends with a high
end Winnebago and all their 120 volt outlets are served from a large
(3000 watt ?) inverter. Last December, although connected to shore
power, their inverter took a dump and they had no functioning 120 volt

Our Journey and Ambassador had much larger invertors and they did handle many outlets.
I would not be surprised if the 400 watt unit handled televisions and perhaps one other outlet. We have not needed to use it yet so I've had no urge to find out.
On this topic, on the trip down DW had the toaster working and was about to plug in the electric kettle. I said "hold it" - I don't know what outlets are on what circuits. I meant to look in the manual but I'm not sure I saw anything there when I was looking through the electrical system for something else the other day.
Anyone know how many ciruits are there? Our Ambassador had one in the front and one in the back - and that was not a good layout. The Journey had one down each side - which was much better as we could use the electric kettle and the toaster in the galley by having one on each side.
