Come on people.....I need something to read.. We haven't had any new
post in 4 days. Keep up the good work Denny, and I know you can find
something to post. By the way, (for Denny) the moisture meter you
bought, do you have to push the two prongs on the end into the surface
you are checking? For example, on an inside roof, do you have
to "puncture" the covering to test for moisture? I assume you do
unless it works off of a beam or sensor of some type.

Thanks, Mike, for a GOOD laugh!! I figured maybe Don got tired of my "issues" and dropped me. Glad he didn't!!
Yes, you will have to "puncture" the covering if it is vinyl like they all seem to be these days... but after you pull out the unit, the holes repair themselves. Not a big problem.
If you NEED something to read, I have been constantly updating and changing my blog... trying to make it more interesting. Let me know what you think, www.rvfactor.blogspot.com (http://www.rvfactor.blogspot.com)
Thanks, Denny

Thanks for the info on the meter. Yes, I read your blog, RV.Net and
this group every day. Just trying to wake up the crowd around this
place. I am about to get sick of the rain and thunderstorms around
my area. Seems every 2 to 3 days we have a warm front and a cold
front colliding..warm one day then cold then thunderstorms etc. It
is about as much fun as watching rust grow!

Tired of your issues? You must be dreaming. The manufacturers need a wake up call - like a 2 x 4 across the knees. If we could turn the calendar back to 2003 we would probably take a pass on this expensive activity.
My wife's sister and her husband are visiting for 3 weeks starting this past Monday so I've been a bit occupied. They have had to recognize the come down in their abode from the 41 ft DP with 4 slides to the 32.5 ft with 2 slides. This morning they thought there was a propane leak. Couldn't find one but I think it was a trap under the sink that was not tight at both ends as I was able to turn them several 360s before they tightened (guess it is a bit too much to think they'd tighten all the plumbing connections).
So, I'm here and just to let everyone know we do have over 70 people signed on to the group.

OK Guys I am back up and running after a trip to RV Chassis Masters
in Tennessee to fix the suspension on the 08 Seneca on the great and
wonderful Kodiak chassis. Anyway 4K later the coach does ride and
handle much better and Jayco is upgrading the springs next week. I
had Koni shocks, front and rear sway bars, trac bar and steer safe
added. Anyway Jayco called me and wanted to know why I had written
the CEO and had my letter. I said the letter speaks for itself and
now they have assigned me a customer service advisor just for me!
Anyway I think I have got their attention and hopefully all issues
will be addressed. Dane
