Wake UP!!!!!! January 31, 2008, 04:04:11 pm Yahoo Message Number: 505Come on people.....I need something to read.. We haven't had any newpost in 4 days. Keep up the good work Denny, and I know you can findsomething to post. By the way, (for Denny) the moisture meter youbought, do you have to push the two prongs on the end into the surfaceyou are checking? For example, on an inside roof, do you haveto "puncture" the covering to test for moisture? I assume you dounless it works off of a beam or sensor of some type.Mike Quote Selected
Re: Wake UP!!!!!! Reply #1 – January 31, 2008, 04:15:01 pm Yahoo Message Number: 506Thanks, Mike, for a GOOD laugh!! I figured maybe Don got tired of my "issues" and dropped me. Glad he didn't!!Yes, you will have to "puncture" the covering if it is vinyl like they all seem to be these days... but after you pull out the unit, the holes repair themselves. Not a big problem. If you NEED something to read, I have been constantly updating and changing my blog... trying to make it more interesting. Let me know what you think, www.rvfactor.blogspot.comThanks, Denny Quote Selected
Re: Wake UP!!!!!! Reply #2 – January 31, 2008, 04:24:57 pm Yahoo Message Number: 507Thanks for the info on the meter. Yes, I read your blog, RV.Net andthis group every day. Just trying to wake up the crowd around thisplace. I am about to get sick of the rain and thunderstorms aroundmy area. Seems every 2 to 3 days we have a warm front and a coldfront colliding..warm one day then cold then thunderstorms etc. Itis about as much fun as watching rust grow!Mike-- In KodiakChassisClassC@yahoogroups.comQuoteThanks, Mike, for a GOOD laugh!! Re: Wake UP!!!!!! Reply #4 – January 31, 2008, 04:42:15 pm Yahoo Message Number: 509Tired of your issues? You must be dreaming. The manufacturers need a wake up call - like a 2 x 4 across the knees. If we could turn the calendar back to 2003 we would probably take a pass on this expensive activity. My wife's sister and her husband are visiting for 3 weeks starting this past Monday so I've been a bit occupied. They have had to recognize the come down in their abode from the 41 ft DP with 4 slides to the 32.5 ft with 2 slides. This morning they thought there was a propane leak. Couldn't find one but I think it was a trap under the sink that was not tight at both ends as I was able to turn them several 360s before they tightened (guess it is a bit too much to think they'd tighten all the plumbing connections). So, I'm here and just to let everyone know we do have over 70 people signed on to the group.DonOn 31-Jan-08, at 4:14 PM, Quote Selected
