Trailer Recptacle Fuse #13

Yahoo Message Number: 9865
I have experienced a re-occuring problem of blowing fuse #13 when I tow my Toad or enclosed trailer. This is a 20 amp. mini fuse. I have increased the amperage to 30amp. with only min. improvement. The fuse sometimes lasts 6 months to a year. Toad is a Jeep Liberty w/SMI Duo-Play brake system. Liberty is wired with seperate wires to the rear lights, no diodes. Has anyone else blown this fuse?

Fuse 13 is the fuse for the trailer turn signals and flashers. I would suspect that something is wrong with your wiring within MH. This is same wiring and cable that the light blue wire is in.

I forgot about the problem I had with the connector to car. Screw that holds connector together was close to 2 wires. This caused arcing across screw to connectors. Shortened screw, problem was solved.
