Water leaks October 05, 2008, 02:57:35 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1791I finally got my Greyhawk 33DS back from the dealer last Monday.Remember the Norcold fridge fire last May? Well it was a time consumingfix but I must admit they did a good repair job, you could never tellit had a fire. had all the recall issues taken care of at the sametime. Now getting excited to head south for the winter. Now my question is I seem to be constantly tightening faucet fittings, today was the back of the toilet, had water leaking out of the bathroomsoaking the carpet, before that it was the hot water tap in thebathroom and before that the kitchen taps. Almost seems like this hasto be something done on a regular maintenance schedule, they seem towork loose on their own.Any comments or ideas to fix this would be greatly appreciated.Doug Quote Selected
Re: Water leaks Reply #1 – October 05, 2008, 04:39:48 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1792They may never have been tight. When I replaced the kitchen sink. Ihad to use a wrench to loosen the fittings. May be best to check allfittings on MH to make sure you have no more leaks. Be sure to checkshower both inside and out. Water pump has similar fittings. As wellas water heater. Are you using a regulator for city water? Quote Selected
Re: Water leaks Reply #2 – October 05, 2008, 08:30:37 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1793I didn't have any problem with the water lines in the coach, becausethe dealer where I picked it up pressurized the plumbing and did acheck for leaks. I did have a leak on the ice make line, on the backof the frig. The biggest problem was the drain (pee traps) under thesinks leaked., "Douglas & Jo Ann Hayes"wrote:QuoteI finally got my Greyhawk 33DS back from the dealer last Monday.Remember the Norcold fridge fire last May? I have had the system pressuretested and do use a pressure relase valve on the input. Guess I'lljust keep keeping an eye on them. Evidently I'm not the only onehaving this problem.Doug Quote Selected
