Water heaterI temp / expansion

Yahoo Message Number: 13109
It seems like my water heater (in electric mode) may be getting too hot. I found some water leaking in my "service bay" from a hot water connection. I Think the water gets hot, expands / gains pressure and then a small leaks springs. It does not appear there is a way to lower the temp? I have not seen this when using the propane side? But maybe I have just missed it.

Ideas?

Be well,

~
