GM trailer electrical plug

Has anyone changed this plug to accept Roadmaster electrical plug. Is there an adapter or can I rewire it leaving off the electric brakes. GM is a 7 pin road master has fewer pins.

has several adapters for 7 to 6 pin plugs. Many Wal-Marts carry these adapters in the towing area of auto parts.
