Seneca 35GS backup camera cover breakage

Might I suggest that you remove the cover completely? I removed mine because I couldn't get a decent view as the cover was not allowing the camera to pivot downward so I removed mine. The camera is reasonably waterproof and I have driven in rain with no degradation. The other advantage is that you can clean the camera lens without having to remove the cover. I live in Phoenix AZ but drive to Missouri every year.

Removing the cover should work. Gulf Steam Super C's use the same camera. But without the cover.
