I missed that post somehow or at least didn't pick up on the leak area.
Sure seems like we're traveling down the same road, complete with endcap
separation. I dried everything under the fridge and all the way up to
where it was running out from under the step. When it was dry I ran my
arm up under the shower and had Kathy put water around the drain, No
problem there. When she put some water around that fiberglass mount for
the faucet the water instantly came down. It was running down the wall
of the shower, but it was also dripping straight down from the mount
without hitting anything on the way so I know it was from that. When I
had the mount off the wall I also found the knurled fittings on the back
of the faucets were very loose as if they hadn't been tightened.
I really would prefer Jayco to check these things before they send them
out for field testing by us :-) Since I had all the drawers and access
covers out under the cabinets I vacuumed up all the construction debris
they left along with the dropped screws. I like the Jayco product and
this is my second Jayco, but this sort of thing was present on my other
one too. I guess all brands have similar stuff unless you get into the
half million dollar stuff. They may have it too, who knows.
Take care,
