Microware lowering project. June 13, 2008, 08:32:59 am Yahoo Message Number: 1204My wife is short. GS installed the Microwave so high that she needed astool to use it. We attended a FMCA rally Memorial Day weekend. Wifetook a Microwave/Convection oven class. This put the pressure on me tomake it so she can use microwave without the stool. Got it done. Turnsout it was not as bad a project as I thought. Lowering bottom panel ofmicrowave gave access to the 2 bolts that hold it to a back panel.Loosened these 2 screws and Microwave was in my arms. Lowered thepanel that screws where using to hold up microwave. Modified areaabove the new microwave location to make a cabinet. Bought a custommade cabinet door off EBAY to match existing cabinets. While do theproject found that GS had installed vent fan to only send air out, butnot vent stove area. Installed a vent to outside. Life is good. Wifeis happy and so am I. Quote Selected

Make, cost, who installed, improvement, etc. Also look like something I'd like to add and I suspect what you did is much cheaper than the UltraRide I keep dreaming of (details of UR in files section). Maybe I should search the forum posts because you may have given us this info already. DonOn 13-Jun-08, at 8:56 AM, Ron Hall wrote: Quote Selected
