So I thought why not bring it uphere and see is anyone has had anything simular. The levelers, rear camera display, and electric door locks donot work on their own. They will work if I hold in the AUX batterybutton. These are the only devices I know of at this time, therecould be more. My feeling is these are all chassis batterypowered and maybe there is a grounding or miswiring somewhere that iscommon to these devices only. The dash lights, radio, heater/AC, lightsall work fine.I'm open for ideasDoug'07 Jayco Greyhawk 33DShttp://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/21914806.cfmJust post the answer here and then we will tell him where to findit. Re: 33DS question on RV.net Reply #4 – September 23, 2008, 09:00:29 am Yahoo Message Number: 1745I have found that the steps come out and go in even when I have the chassis battery disconnected and the coach battery kill switch by the door "off." Always makes me wonder how it is connected. Our Ambassador had 2 kill switches in the battery compartment. It had 4 6V batteries for the house and 2 12V for the vehicle. OFF meant off when these switches were turned off. That does not seem to be the case with the Jayco.I suspect I'm not the only one who is curious about your problem and is interested in learning more when details are known.DonOn 23-Sep-08, at 8:11 AM, Douglas & Jo Ann Hayes wrote: Quote Selected
Re: 33DS question on RV.net Reply #5 – September 23, 2008, 07:20:28 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1746 I believe it works off engine battery , they will come out and in with the disconnect switch off.Turn the engine key and they automatically pull back in. Quote Selected
Re: 33DS question on RV.net Reply #6 – September 23, 2008, 07:37:03 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1747Gary, under the hood there is a battery connection because the location under the copilot is so inconvenient. The step even works when I've disconnected it under the hood - which leads me to believe that there much be another connection to the positive post I can't see - or it defaults to the coach battery and overrides the kill switch.DonOn 23-Sep-08, at 7:20 PM, Gary Myers wrote: Quote Selected

These devices all worked at onetime until my coach battery went dead, since recharging they havenot worked right since. As of this afternoon it's still not resolved. The dealer says theyare trying to troubleshoot this by wire grouping.Doug Quote Selected
