No other lights came on. This is the lighton the panel below radio. Anybody had this problem? I have checkedfluid level and other obvious items. I have a scematic that shows thislight works when there is a problem with the Hydro-Boost system. Quote Selected

Re: Service Brakes Soon light Reply #2 – August 01, 2008, 12:37:53 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1532Your problem with the light may be easier to solve than mine.According to the owners manual. If you have your foot on the brake andturning at the same time (like when you are maneuvering in to aparking spot) the light may come on. Stop either turning steeringwheel or take foot off brake pedal and the light should go out. This problem has been showing up every so often. Most times when I getsomewhere where I can shut engine off and then restart, problem goesaway. But not this time. Quote Selected
Re: Service Brakes Soon light Reply #3 – August 01, 2008, 05:15:12 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1533Got it fixed. It was the Power Brake Booster Fluid Flow Switch.Actually its connector. Must have been a bad connection. There aremany places to check besides the above switch, including brake pedalswitch, hydromax relay, and Electronic Brake Control Module. This light in the Driver Information Center (panel under Radio) isprimary used to tell it the Hydro Boost (power brakes)is operatingproperly. It is used on Gas and Diesel model Kodiak Chassis. Got theinformation from Diesel Place. In this thread.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=84077&highlight=chimeI have an appointment Monday with a repair shop to look into theproblem and make sure it is fixed properly. Re: Service Brakes Soon light Reply #4 – August 03, 2008, 12:28:18 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1538I have had the same problem, but with a different cure. Both times myservice brake light has come on it was the brake light switch on thebrake pedal was stuck. The way i discovered this was that I did nothave brake lights. This light and buzzer would come on after having thebrake pedal depressed for about 7 seconds. I simply gently moved theswitch, turned the key off to reset and all was well. I had a dealertell me that it was the fluid flow switch connector, but on the wayhome from the dealer the light came on again, this time my wife wasfollowing me and told me that the brake lights were not working. Isuggest that you check this on your unit. It took me a while to figureout that the warning light was telling me that I had no brake lights.Hope this helps., "Ron Hall" wrote:QuoteGot it fixed.
