Need a strange type answer, I thought Kodiak was a GM(Chevy) chassis
and Workhorse was Workhorse chassis. I have the FourWinds Funmover
on Chevy c5500 cab 6.6 Durmax diesel. Went to one chevy place they said
they don't work on workhorse, SO went to another Chevy place they said
we don't work on Kodiak !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So ................. I thought it was a Kodiak but can't find anything
saying one way or another (because I'm hunting fot it)
Any ideas ???

Clearly that dealer didn't know his arm from his yazoo.

I took mine to a Workhorse dealer (a real Workhorse dealer - many on their list aren't really dealers and turn people with WH products away) because I knew he could handle the Kodiak because he was also a GMC Medium Duty Truck Dealer. Our Chev dealer said it couldn't handle it - and I bought a Tahoe, Cadillac, Equinox and Silhouette from them. Couldn't get it in their shop.

This may be a case where you should look at the WH site to get the list of dealers and see if their is one near you who is also a GM MDT dealer.

Don

ps. Or, consider a CoachCare dealer if there is one nearby - I've heard mixed reports on them as to price but some say they know what they are doing. They are Cummins dealers and cover Workhorse (which may be ok for me with an 8.1 but perhaps not for the Duramax. You might call and check if there is one near you.

Gary,
Not all Chevy dealers service the Kodiak. I have not been to their web
site to check, but somewhere I saw a list of all the Chevy Dealers that
will service Medium Duty trucks.
Not sure where you are at, but the dealer down the street from me
services them, William L. Morris in Fillmore, Ca.
Good luck,
Bill
