Sorry to be a pest, but a few more questions 32SS

Yahoo Message Number: 1272
1. Okay, I read the manual and looked around, but I can't find the
switch for the antenna booster. Can someone tell me where it is located?

2. Next, I have read a lot about springs and have seen where some
people seem to have 15,000 or 19,000 lb springs and where Jayco has
authorized replacing 15,000 lb with heavier, and so on. I went
through the codes on the RV and I have 13,500 lb springs in the rear.
Is this not correct? In efforts to improve handling should I
consider upgrading, or is this adequate for the 32SS?

3. Last, for now: I went back last night and got to the Xantrex
inverter and got it to power on, but it still won't operate the TV and
constantly has a fault light on. By getting it powered up I have now
caused an old generator problem to reappear, the genset (Onan 5500)
will shut down when I turn on the air and even without air, it shuts
off after a few minutes. I get fault code 37. My dealer does not
seem to know what that means and I have searched on the internet and
can't figure out what this is telling me (except to take it to the
dealer). Any idea of what is going on (other than the fact I need to
take it in)? I have arranged to drop it off at the dealer for this
and the other issues, but if the last time is any indication, I am
probably going to be without the thing for at least a few weeks and
perhaps all of July. I suppose I could disconnect the inverter and
not worry about that for the rest of the summer, but I have to get the
coach door and driver's door problems and some other stuff fixed and
still want to get the replacement backup monitor, so I guess it needs
to go back anyway.

There is a "little" button just above the DVD player. Very small and hard to see.

13,500 lb rear springs were standard on the Greyhawk/Kodiak. I haven't heard too many problem reported - certainly not like those experienced by Seneca owners. I've been wondering about the helper springs (supersprings) but have not made up my mind if they are worth it.

That inverter problem sure sounds strange. Were you able to identify all the buttons (something I couldn't do looking down from above (removed a drawer)) to make sure you got everything set right (see manual). I had a "power on" light showing on mine and it turned out the breaker was off.

Great, I'll look for that tonight,

I am no expert on such things, but I would not have thought it needed
heavier or helper springs as much as as maybe better shocks, perhaps a
front sway bar or something like that. Again, I am pretty ignorant on
such things.

I took out the drawer and then took off the wooden ventilation panel
beneath it to better see what I was doing. I checked the breakers and
all were on. I had to download and print a manual for the inverter
(as well as the awning) as these were omitted from the stuff I got
with the RV. From what I can tell, there is nothing left for me to
do, and access is pretty limited back there. Battery voltage is fine,
and although it was hot in the coach when I was messing around, it was
certainly within the operating temperature range of the inverter, so I
don't know what is causing the problem. I also don't understand how
this ties in to the generator problem.

JD,
Here are links to photos that may help you figure out where the booster it located and in my case, how I solved the problem of access to the on/off switch.
