Internet Influence

Thanks Don for your comments... we will keep your daughter-in-law in our prayers as well.

When a group of us started the Fleetwood Discovery Owners Club, Fleetwood started their own club to diminish the influence of our group. They failed miserably. Finally, the big "3" (Freightliner, Fleetwood, and Cummins) all asked to join our club, which we allowed.

The club grew to over 1200 members because there were so many"issues" to address with the motorhome. Fleetwood responded by building a better quality RV and they even incorporated our recommendations into their design, and agreed to a "grievance committee" to address individual issues. I was active for over ten years, until I bought my Dutchmen.

Recently I asked a member how the club was doing. He said we only have 35 active members left. Fleetwood improved on their quality to the extent no-one had anything left to post about the product. Lets face it, these forums exist because of PROBLEMS, and no other reason.

The bigger the forum, the bigger the problems with that product.
