We checked our antenna, it is loose all around. How hard is it to take it out and repair it? We have a endura Gulf Stream 2005, or should we just by a new antenna to install. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

We also have a 2005 Enrura that had the same problem when we bought it last year. I went to the trouble of buying a new antenna and replaced it. Mounted it and sealed it up but it still has the problem of leaking when it rains hard (ie Hurrican Sandy).

The way the antenna is constructed allows water to come in around the gear that cranks the antenna to the up position. In the spring I plan to remove it, fabricate a aluminum cover to eliminate the hole and install a domed satellite antenna.
