3. Pulling the AC Power

Installing the power socket
I got some 2 wire AC cable (has two AC lines & Ground (14/2 NM - B)).I threaded this through some Ultratite Non-Metal Flexible Conduit. This conduit is great for this application because it is watertight, weather resistant, and works across a wide temperature range.I ran the conduit from the rear bin to the forward bin via the passenger side chassis channel. Unfortunately this is close to the Exhaust system, so take care to put the conduit behind any heat shields, and in the upper cable channel.

Light gray flexible conduit run
I then drilled a ¾ inch hole in the forward bin and terminated the conduit into it:

Ultratite Conduit and front bin termination

Now I am ready to mount the front socket for the battery minder and other use. This is on the GFCI circuit.
Here is the forward socket mounted next to the Battery Minder:

I tapped into the GFCI circuit in the rear bin and terminated the flexible conduit there.

Well that is about it. After a months use I have not seen the circuit breaker trip, and the battery voltages have been good.
As always - suggestions for improvement welcome.
