Does anybody know if the 2006 Jayco Seneca 35gs has a water filter built in? If so where is it at?

Thanks
Ronnie

The only filter that you could call "built in" would be an inline filter on the cold water line under the sink. (a royal pita to get to) There is no "whole house" filter, you need to add that yourself.

Is that the kitchen sink or bathroom?

Also has anybody ever swapped out the table and chairs for a booth dinette? I found this one http://www.discountvantruck.com/rvlounge/rvfurniturelivingstonlounge.htm (http://www.discountvantruck.com/rvlounge/rvfurniturelivingstonlounge.htm) but found a couple nasty reviews on the company from a few years ago.

Mine is under the kitchen sink, on the side door above the steps is the best access, and still not good, hard to reach and work on.
I removed mine the day after we bought the MH, one of the reasons is you can not (or at least) not suppose to winterize with the thing in the line, so to avoid headaches just took it off.

The Kodiak chassis should be OK. A few members have Dutchman MH. Not many complaints.

Our fearless leader and founder had a gasser and he seemed to be happy with it. Hopefully he will chime in.

I have a 2009 Born Free, 28RSB model,
thats on a 2008 Kodiak chassis and it has the 8.1L gas engine.
I currently have about 22,000 miles and so far no problems.
I dont pull a toad and get around 10 mpg. Plenty of power and I love it.

My gasser was a Jayco. 8.1 Vortec was much tougher on fuel than the Duramax.

We looked there too but stayed away. Turns out the shipping will get you and from what was told by RV places the quality was not to our standards. Plus it is up to you to install.
If you are close to Junction City Oregon look up Countryside RV Interiors, our dinette builder took very good notes and a cabinet door for stain matching. Excellent craftmanship, everything we wanted.
He had been a cabinet maker for Monaco just down the road prior to their problems.
At the same time we had Love seat recliners set in place.
Much better than the lame setup that we bought the RV with.
Price was good for what we got, not cheap but not exorbitant.
The Recliners were about $900 and the custom dinette/sleeper about $2500.
They get a lot of out-of-town business and have space for staying over night.
Junction City is an RV megalopolis with a larger number of Dealers that use their services too.
Tell them Emmy & Kevin Studer say HI.
