No, I had it mounted on the ladder and when I took it off to clear trees I just set it on the ground.

Anybody looking for an auto sat antenna? I have a Winegard Carryout for sale, asking $450, obo, plus shipping. This can be roof mounted using the optional ladder bracket. Works great and as advertised, but we switched to an "In motion" antenna.
Shipping to the West coast would run about $45 +/- but no tax. Unit retails for around $699.
Works on DISH SD+HD, DIRECT SD only and also on BELL CANADA (not sure how we could get it to you though)
