Re: Coach Care Reply #1 – January 19, 2008, 07:57:00 pm Yahoo Message Number: 446I have only bought parts from the Coach Care center 3 miles from myhouse. I have gotten quotes from them for oil filter and transmissionoil changes. Their price were almost equal to the GM Dealer. I havefound that Speedco is better for oil change and chassis lube. They donot do Auto transmissions. http://www.speedcousa.com/ On your way homeon I75 there is one at Beaverdam, OH. Its across from Flying J. Quote Selected
Re: Coach Care Reply #2 – January 19, 2008, 11:48:21 pm Yahoo Message Number: 447Thanks. Beaverdam is an automatic gas stop for us - last FJ before we cross the border. This year I hope we are going to Jayco factory on the way home. I doubt that Jayco does annual maintenance and 5000 mile Allison filter but I might ask them.DonOn 19-Jan-08, at 7:56 PM, Ron Hall wrote: Quote Selected
Re: Coach Care Reply #3 – January 20, 2008, 01:06:36 pm Yahoo Message Number: 448Don, We took our Seneca to Coach Care at Harrisburg, PA to have oil, filter and maintainence done on our generator. We were on the road, they took us right in, had the work done on time and as promised, andeven had a doggie treat for Buster. I have also used the Coach Care inColumbia SC and Spartanburg SC with similar results on a previouscoach. To my mind, they are good guys to do business with.JimBob06 Seneca 34SSCurrently in Robertsdale AL Quote Selected
Re: Coach Care Reply #4 – January 20, 2008, 01:52:15 pm Yahoo Message Number: 449Don, I have noticed on some forums people saying that the 8.1 Lonly held 6 or 7 quarts of oil. I think it was older models and Idon't remember the brand name of the MH. However, your Jayco holds 10quarts WITH a filter change. Mine actually only held about 9 1/2 orso. Anyway, just wanted to make sure you were aware of that, and Iam sure you are.MikeQuoteHas anyone taken a Kodiak gasser or diesel to a Coach Carelocation Quote Selected

Re: Coach Care Reply #6 – January 20, 2008, 02:12:24 pm Yahoo Message Number: 451Thanks Mike. I'm going to go out and get the manual (it is parked next to our park model) and check the specs and I also want to see what the lube recommendations are with respeoct to the type of grease. I'm going to get a grease gun and do the 5k/6 month lube myself as it has been sitting here since Oct 30 and will not be moving until April when we head north.DonOn 20-Jan-08, at 1:52 PM, smokie39157 wrote: Quote Selected

What was the $$$ damage for the work?DonDon, IIRC, about $128.00- That was for oil, filter, and some othersmall part- We had been out at a ranch in Montana, and the repairmanspent an extra half hour on the job, did a thorough job, as we watchedhim.... had a great comment, telling me that there was enough dirt inthe filters to grow potatoes.......Think the flat rate was 85 an hour, which is comparable to Camping WorldJim Bobhttp://jimbobmissbetteandbuster@...
