Hi folks

Does anyone know if our chassis comes pre wired for a break controler
I know it is pre wired on the hitch receiver with 7 and 4 pins plugs, but wonder if under the dash there is a harness with plug in connector for an electric break controler.
Thank you all much

NO. It needs to be spliced into the wiring harness(es) in several places. I have attached theGM Upfitter / bodybuilder guide. Its fairly trivial but not plug and play as if it were not a Medium Duty Truck. Consumer grades have it all ready.....

I hope this helps. Any good RV / Trailer / Towing shop can knock this out for $100 or less.

Be sure to wire brake controller with connections shown in the bulletin. Do not wire to the brake switch. You should find the wire connection on passenger side frame rail. It will be located on inside of frame rail about where batteries are located in passenger step.
