Title: Moisture under mattress and no, NOT what you think!

Am I the only one with moisture under the mattress? I brought this up a few weeks ago, with no response. And neither my wife nor I have a bladder problem.

The mattress is on lauan plywood on the slide-out... I thought at first the outside trim was leaking, so I caulked it well. Checking it this morning, we still have moisture. It is at the base of the headboard, and seems to outline supports under the lauan plywood. We have a 2 inch memory foam pad on the mattress, so I doubt it is condensation from our sleeping bodies, but it only shows up on the part that slides out. When I pull out the mattress and get a fan on the wet areas, it dries within a few hours, but it is such a pain.

My concern is that mold will form behind the headboard and on the plywood mattress support.

Any ideas on how to find/fix the problem would be appreciated.
