2016 SENECA air brakes/air ride seats

In case anybody is interested this was posted on the JAYCO owner's forum.

I was on RVtrader checking out any pictures on the new 2016 changes and I came across this shot of a Induction cook top in the new Seneca. I called to check on this at Sicards RV and he made a call to the Jayco rep and he verified the Induction cook top is now standard as well as air brakes and air ride seats.

Sicard was my dealer for our two diesel pushers and Kodiak.

You may recall when they showed us the new chassis they were going to use the model they brought over from Freightliner had airbrakes and the air ride seats and we all moaned when they said they would not be offered in the new Seneca. Nice to see hey had a change of heart. Those seats sure were nice and comfortable with a wide range of adjustment.

Still a shame that the towing capacity is so low at 5k.

Since they raised the towing capacity on the Greyhawk, maybe they did the same of the SENECA. Now they just need to add some recliners and dump the rounded shower with the narrow door opening.
