SuperSprings June 16, 2008, 08:11:32 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1249I know this topic has been talked about before, but I have a 2008Seneca on a 2007 chassis, 19,000lbs springs replaced by Jayco. WOWwhat a difference in the drivability of the RV that now has littlesway on the rode or driveways and little to no wonder in the front andraised the back end up about 3 inches. It was a really big problemgetting them installed with those 19,000 springs but, what adifference. After going to CW who could not put them on, a specializedspring shop that could not put them on and then being sent to a busplace by SuperSprings, who wondered if they could put them on, theywere able to finally get them pulled down far enough to get the boltthrough to get them attached. Even contacted Henderson's for guidance. There is no way you could do these by yourself as stated in thepaperwork and you could only put the bolt through the final slot whichyou are given 3 slots.Keith Quote Selected

Re: SuperSprings Reply #2 – June 17, 2008, 12:36:36 am Yahoo Message Number: 1253After Reading what I wrote it is not clear if I was talking about the 19,000 springs or the added SuperSprings. The SuperSprings are what made a big difference. Quote Selected
Re: SuperSprings Reply #3 – June 17, 2008, 02:42:57 am Yahoo Message Number: 1254I was able to install Supersprings on my 15000 spring pack. I built aspring compressor out of a piece of angle and a couple pieces of 1/2inch all-thread. Definetly not a do-it-yourself job with common handtools. I couldn't have installed the springs without a compressor. Theinstructions say to use a C-Clamp. Don't even try it. It's interestingto hear you say the Supersprings made the biggest difference. I don'thave the 19000 springs and don't really think I need them. TheSupersprings transformed the RV. I've also installed a rear trackbarand Koni's all the way around. HUGE improvement over stock. I don'tthink I am going to go to the hassle of having Jayco upgrade mysprings. My time is worth more...I think I'm done upgrading suspension.GP Quote Selected
Re: SuperSprings Reply #4 – June 17, 2008, 05:09:14 am Yahoo Message Number: 1256Has anyone installed airbags on there 19,000 lbs chassis instead ofthe Super Springs. I wonder if the difference is the same as I amexperiencing on 15,000 springs. Air bag upgrade is a DIY project witha couple of 3/8" holes to drill.Ron Hall, "kllasvegas"wrote: Quote Selected
Re: SuperSprings Reply #5 – June 17, 2008, 08:44:16 am Yahoo Message Number: 1257I think the 19,000 spring made installing the SuperSprings such a problem to install. 15,000 might even be better with them. I have heard mixed results with the airbags. Quote Selected

There doesn't look to be that much to the springs. What feeling did you have on this?DonOn 18-Jun-08, at 10:36 PM, harperbill wrote: Quote Selected
