I know this topic has been talked about before, but I have a 2008
Seneca on a 2007 chassis, 19,000lbs springs replaced by Jayco. WOW
what a difference in the drivability of the RV that now has little
sway on the rode or driveways and little to no wonder in the front and
raised the back end up about 3 inches. It was a really big problem
getting them installed with those 19,000 springs but, what a
difference. After going to CW who could not put them on, a specialized
spring shop that could not put them on and then being sent to a bus
place by SuperSprings, who wondered if they could put them on, they
were able to finally get them pulled down far enough to get the bolt
through to get them attached. Even contacted Henderson's for guidance.
There is no way you could do these by yourself as stated in the
paperwork and you could only put the bolt through the final slot which
you are given 3 slots.

-You are so right and after Jayco replaced mine there is not
comparision. Jayco really stands behind their products and treats
their customers right! Dane

After Reading what I wrote it is not clear if I was talking about the 19,000 springs or the added SuperSprings. The SuperSprings are what made a big difference.

I was able to install Supersprings on my 15000 spring pack. I built a
spring compressor out of a piece of angle and a couple pieces of 1/2
inch all-thread. Definetly not a do-it-yourself job with common hand
tools. I couldn't have installed the springs without a compressor. The
instructions say to use a C-Clamp. Don't even try it. It's interesting
to hear you say the Supersprings made the biggest difference. I don't
have the 19000 springs and don't really think I need them. The
Supersprings transformed the RV. I've also installed a rear trackbar
and Koni's all the way around. HUGE improvement over stock. I don't
think I am going to go to the hassle of having Jayco upgrade my
springs. My time is worth more...

I think I'm done upgrading suspension.

Has anyone installed airbags on there 19,000 lbs chassis instead of
the Super Springs. I wonder if the difference is the same as I am
experiencing on 15,000 springs. Air bag upgrade is a DIY project with
a couple of 3/8" holes to drill.

I think the 19,000 spring made installing the SuperSprings such a problem to install. 15,000 might even be better with them. I have heard mixed results with the airbags.

I just had Super Springs installed on my 2007 Seneca 35 GS with 15k
springs. The rig is now level in the rear and up about 3 inches. The
handleing is much better.

$410 for the springs no shipping or tax. $79 to install at CW but they did not have the tools and with all the issues I had it ended up being $250 for the install.

When I look at the photos I start asking myself where the $550 cost comes from. There doesn't look to be that much to the springs.

What feeling did you have on this?
