THIS: He said "It's just a Number that International came up with" "They " International) could change it" We said, "Then CHANGE IT". Internationals GVWR is 19,500. The CCC on the yellow sticker is NEXUS responsibility. [Ken & Linda]

If it's a number from the truck manufacturer, and NEXUS doesn't change it... and you have warranty issues related to heavy loading... those would most likely be DENIED due to exceeding the stated weight capacity.

I'm finding numbers like this for the Terastar Chassis: 19,500 lb Gross Vehicle Weight; 7,000 lb Front Axle Weight; 13,500 lb Rear Axle Weight... which leads to 20,500 lb MAX combined, if you balance the weight properly across the axles, exactly. That's not a lot of wiggle room for anyone to "just change it".

If the DOT authorities decide to check if you're over-weight and you don't stay under the sticker, you'd be in trouble with the law, then.

This is NOT "Just a Number".

Someone at the factory needs to figure this out ASAP.

My $0.02.
