Greg - sewer hose

Greg, can you get your sewer hose AND the connectors into the tube on
the back of your MH? It looks to be 4 inches and I would assume the
connectors fit as well.

Also looking forward to seeing photos of the toad connected with the
Protect A Tow.

I use the ultimate sewer hose so it doesn't have anything other than the
push on connectors so it's straight, but before I started using that I
did have a hose with a 45 degree connector on the end and if fit okay. I
really like this holder even though it ended up mounted on the back
bumper. There just wasn't a good spot underneath to mount it.

They called today and everything should be ready Friday so we'll go over
and let them hook them all together. I'll drill the two holes in the Vue
over there for the final eye bolts.

BTW, tomorrow my bro-in-law is going to do the 14 locks on the storage
compartments. I'm going to talk to him about whether it would be cost
effective for him and the folks here to offer re-keyed locksets you
could just replace the ones in your units with. Then send him the old
ones so he could re-key them for the next. That way no one has to pay
the extra cost for new cylinders. I have no idea if he'd be interested
or want to do it, but I'll talk to him.

Take care,
Greg

I hadn't noticed the "Ultimate Sewer Hose" by Blueline before. Looks interesting and I'll have to have a look next time I'm in CW.

BTW, why is it taking them so long to do the Vue?

I really like it. I had some doubts about whether the push on connectors
would hold, but I had them on my trailer without a problem so I got them
for the motorhome. I have a 90 degree clear adapter on the sewer
connector so the hose pushes straight up onto it and that scared me, but
so far so good.

It was in for some other stuff too. They are replacing the drivers seat
because there was something wrong with the lumbar support thing. When
the new one came in my salesman didn't like the way it felt either so he
rejected it and got another. There was a bubble in the upholstery of the
door panel so he ordered a new one of those too. They ordered the base
plate from one of the biggest motorhome dealers in the state and they
sent the wrong one. They didn't realize the 2008 was different from the
2007 version. The salesman was pretty aggravated with them over that.
Then they didn't sent something for the lights when they hook up the
buddy brake. It's been one parts error after another, but J.R. tells me
all is well now as soon as they get the lights. Since they gave me a
loaner with a full tank of gas I didn't bother rushing them or getting
upset.

I've lost some faith in Bill Plemmons RV though and they're a big
outfit. Apparently this is the first 2008 Vue they've ordered parts for
though and used the parts numbers they've been using for years when the
have a Vue to hook up. Oops.

Take care,
Greg

I have the same hose tube. Mine does look longer than Greg's. I have
one of them red straight twist lock ends and a clear 45 degree locking
connector on the other end. Hose is 20' long. Both ends fit in the
tube. Got mine a General RV.

Greg,

Is he re-keying your existing locks or did he get 14 new locks all
keyed the same? In either case I'd be interested to know what he felt
would be the normal charge to a "non-family" coustomer for that type of
service. That would give me an idea of a ball park figure to use as a
reference if I went to a local locksmith here. Thanks,

Bill
