Anybody familiar with this park during flood periods? We stay there every year going to Denver and back, but the river is going to crest above flood stage this week and we're due in there tonight. Not sure I trust the clerk on the phone to give me accurate info if it means losing a customer.

We've been there with the river very high but never over flood stage.

Take care,
Greg

I'd call the St. Louis police non emerg number and ask them.

Well, you were thinking about a new unit a while back. Do you have full replacement cost insurance coverage?

About five years ago a fellow owner at our park in Florida was in a low lying camp ground in NY State and their three year old A pusher got flooded. Their insurance company replaced it with a new unit (same make and model) but he could have taken cash (he later wished he had).

Just a thought?

They would, as a minimum, pay the original cost and perhaps some inflation on top of it. The people at our park got another pusher that was certainly more expensive then the unit being replaced.

Should we do a rain dance for you? :)

I don't need rain here. Our place is like a war zone today. We have 11 guys on the roof removing all of the old shingles and then installing a new roof (CertainTeed Landmark with a Diamond Deck synthetic underlay).

It has been said that if one watches sausages being made they will never eat them again. Kind of similar with roofing - except you can't do without a roof. Most of ours is 12/12 pitch and these guys are roped and boarded and it looks like chaos. Of course most are young guys. I wouldn't even put a foot on the roof at age 70.

It was going to be a 2 day job and then they decided to put on a very large crew and do it in a day. I sure hope nothing goes haywire. Our gazebo is also being done. Color is being changed from black to a silver grey. Sure looks different than we visualized from the samples.

"She who must be obeyed" decided to spend the day with our D-I-L so she wouldn't be in the way. When she sees the finished product I just wonder if she will remember that "she" is the one who selected the color?

Let us know if your Kodiak floats away. :)
