Hay everyone

Been off here for a while have been on the road now for 4 months, lifes
good. BUT
Have a problem with the brake alarm being on sounds like a slot machine
paying off if you haven't ever heard it. My question is for folks that
have heard it and what you did to shut it off. I have 11k miles brakes
feel fine and look ok driving in the mountains no problem. I use gears
or engine brake, brakes is the last resort. Been to the dealer in
Longmont Colorado wants me to take it a truck service company this
could confuse waranty I have been there and I don't want to go back.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mike

I am assuming that you are talking about the Service brake soon light
coming on along with chimes.
Had a similar problem turned out to be a bad connection at the
hydro-boost flow switch. Just cleaned the connections and problem went
away. Other have found the brake pedal switch was bad. Saw a whole
thread on Diesel Place on various place in the circuit.
Here is a link to the thread where I posted here on Kodiak Chassis.

Ask more questions if these ideas do not help.
If you go to Diesel Place type SERVICE BRAKES SOON in there search
box. I found info under medium duty truck forum.
