Is this true? The turning radius on my Kodiak is better than it was using either myE350 diesel van or my Chevy 2500 crewcab towing my trailer. I love theturning radius of the Kodiak, but I can tell you the exact figures forthe turns. I've found it easier than maneuvering the 33ft trailer behindthe trucks.Take care, Greg Quote Selected

Reply #2 – May 01, 2011, 10:06:47 pm Yahoo Message Number: 6919Seems odd as the turning radius was used as a selling feature. 35' diameter per the brochure which also lists F-450/F-550 at 52' in comparison. The brochure also claims this is tighter than a 'midsize' car (of course they don't list a make/model).GregMNClyde & Meleena wrote:QuoteI have been told that the large turning radius of the Kodiak is a majorproblem in RV parks. I drive my 34' virtually anywhere, any parking lot and never worried about getting stuck.Must have been some quack sales guy steering you away from a particular unit. Quote Selected
Re: Turning Radius of the Kodiak............... Reply #6 – May 02, 2011, 05:00:53 am Yahoo Message Number: 6926Turning Radius for the Kodiak is 17.5' Ford E450 is just over 27'. That's a big difference. I am amazed at how little space is required to do a U-trun with my MH. Less than 4 lanes are needed. A E450 needs over 5 lanes to do the same maneuver.BestRon Hall Quote Selected

Reply #7 – May 02, 2011, 05:16:48 am Yahoo Message Number: 6927Clyde, I am always surprise how easy I can turn my 36MS, I do not do crazy turns and I am very carefull always, but I was surprise how easy was to pull in and out of some gas stations.at campgrounds I have never had a problem. One thing I am carefull is paying attention to the over hang in back, I worry if it would swing out and hit something in a tight turn, but usually is not a problem either.Who ever told you that probably never driven one before.good luckMo Quote Selected
