Gray water tank = Response from Jayco August 29, 2011, 05:28:06 pm Yahoo Message Number: 7567Hi all, Last week I sent a note to Jayco (copied this group) about the gray water tank. Here is the respons:"The way the holding tanks are built, they will eventually "belly" down. This is the nature of the tanks.I can provide a new tank, however the supplier will not make it anydifferent. The tanks are roto-casted, so they can only make them acertain way. "Very surprise a supplier know about the problem and not making anything to improve, wow.....any howNow I am not sure what to do, should I just get a new tank anyway? there is the labor cost to replace, but I could save it I guess. On another note, I had a "not so elegant" fix up for the moment.I placed a piece of plastic tubbing on the void between the tank rim and the bracked on the right side (pic is little dark) this way I hope the tank would not move avoiding falling again, also I placed a piece of plywood on the back wall of the storage compartment, this way would hold the tank, again avoiding falling. If this works I can leave as is, and maybe paint black that board on the back. Not much I can do about the belly down.So should I just get the offered tank?thank youMo Quote Selected

It was the fact that JAYCO didn't put the rails closer together to support the tank!Dave SparkeFrom: Mo To: KodiakChassisClassC@yahoogroups.comSent: Monday, August 29, 2011 5:25 PMSubject: [KodiakChassisClassC] Gray water tank = Response from Jayco [6 Attachments]Hi all, Last week I sent a note to Jayco (copied this group) about the gray water tank. Here is the respons:"The way the holding tanks are built, they will eventually "belly" down. This is the nature of the tanks.I can provide a new tank, however the supplier will not make it anydifferent.
