32SS 110v TV socket - Don

Hey Don

I was over at the storage place today to run the motorhome a bit and
check things out...someday spring will come. Anyway since it was noon
and I was running the generator I figured I'd watch the noon news while
I was doing some other things there. While I had the TV on I decided to
start the engine, forgetting that Jayco won't let you have the TV on
while the truck engine is running so the TV suddenly went off.

That made me think about you not having power at your outlet. I wonder
if there's some glitch between your ignition switch and the outlet. Have
you tried just turning on the key and turning it back off, then trying
the outlet?

Take care,
Greg

No, not when the jacks were down or they'd pop up. We are north now in this snow (sitting on the end of the chair waiting impatiently for the birth of our first grand child) but when I get back I'll try it. One of the things I did wonder about was the fact that I had the chassis battery disconnected and I thought perhaps that could cause the problem - but when I reconnected it (to raise the jacks after we brought in the slides - which we do when we leave the park for more than a few days) there was no change.

I forgot about that. I need to do that mod so it doesn't happen when the
key is turned on.

Good luck with that, I'm doing that next week, or this week, or today,
or two weeks from now. My youngest is having a baby and they've had some
problems lately so she's on bedrest to prevent a premature birth. They
say it's gonna happen next week anyway if they can hold that long. It
was due the end of March. Then we head for Denver in June for the oldest
boy to have his child. Two in one year......not sure I can afford this :-)

I'd love to get a wiring diagram for these things. It would help to
trace out some issues when they happen.

Take care,
Greg
