Norcold Brackets

Well keep your fingers crossed. I got an email this morning saying a box
of brackets had been shipped to me. Both of the guys who made this
happen have been assigned to other aspects of the operation so it was a
last ditch effort to get this done for us.

PLEASE do NOT call Norcold and say anything about these brackets.

Supposedly I will have enough to cover all those who contacted me. A
couple of the add-ons that emailed after the list went in may be left
out, but we'll cover the ones who specifically said theirs was cracked
and if I have left overs, I'll send them out to the others in the order
I received the emails.

Now....the other part is I'm hoping they arrive before I head out of
state to do my mother's estate because I'll be gone for two weeks or so.
If they arrive before I leave, I'll take them with me and work on
getting them packaged up and mailed from there.

Here's hoping! Sorry this has taken so long.

Take care,
Greg

Do not be sorry.
This is already great help and you took the challenge by the horns.
Thank you

Well it looked like it was going to go like clockwork when it first
started so I'm disappointed it took so long...and I don't have them in
my hands yet, but I do believe they are coming.

Since you're local and just around the corner, maybe we can meet up and
I just hand you yours.

Take care,
Greg

Please include your return address and phone # within the package. I want to get even with you. I think that because of your perserverance we will not have to worry about the door falling off. Thanks a whole bunch for hanging in there for all of us.

Hmmmm, this sounds a bit ominous :-)

I hope not. Mine has survived a trip out west in May that was 4000 miles
and another few hundred around NC since then. I'm headed for
Plattsburgh, NY on Thursday and beat it up the road for more "testing"
So far my new door with the bracket on it is working fine. On the way
back from CO my wife didn't take care loading the door either which
scared me a bit, but so far so good.

Hey I'm glad to do it, I'm just lucky I had a friend who had the Norcold
extruded plastics account at the time and he stumbled on to someone who
knew something of the problem and was frustrated himself over the way it
was being handled. He was also glad it wasn't his company making the door.

Take care,
Greg

That's the good news, they arrived this morning just as I was told. The
bad news is I'm leaving town to settle my mothers estate and will be
gone for two weeks. I will take them with me along with addresses, etc
and hopefully be able to work on them some there so I can get them
mailed out without further delay.

Billy Piner and I both posted photos in our sections on the installation.

There will be instructions in the package along with a washer. The
washer is CRITICAL so be sure to put it on the post before setting the
door back on it. This spreads the load out to the bracket so the plastic
piece no longer supports it.

Take care,
Greg
