Kodiak Transmission Filter March 18, 2010, 11:41:21 pm Yahoo Message Number: 3937The original replacement of the transmission filter was at 5000 miles. When do you replace it the second time? This is a question that just came to mind and my manuals are about 10 miles away where the RV is stored. Thanks, Bob Quote Selected

Re: Kodiak Transmission Filter Reply #3 – March 19, 2010, 07:26:34 am Yahoo Message Number: 3940My 2004 manual calls for change of the Red filter at 5,000. The 2009 manual linked here calls for replacement at 10,000 miles. Then replaced again at 50,000 miles.Mine has been changed 3 times in just under 50,000 miles. Never saw anything in the filter. Did a oil change at 43,000 miles. Had a analysis done at that time. No reported problems found. Quote Selected

Re: Kodiak Transmission Filter Reply #7 – March 20, 2010, 10:21:59 pm Yahoo Message Number: 3988I had mine changed at almost 5,000 which was at the end of year one. Since I only have 11,000 miles on it now, IMO the next one is at 36 months (24 months after the previous change) which will be this may in conjunction with our year 3 maintenance. What length warranty does everyone think they got with their Allison?Don Quote Selected
