Onslow Beach

Got to Onslow Beach, today, and there is Greg's rig. Hi Greg, me and Sharon are on lot 6. :)

Yup, it's a veritable Kodiak mini-jamboree :-) Well, two of us anyway.
Billy put me on to this military campground and I have to say it's a
real find. Walking distance to the ocean and the intracoastal waterway.
I can actually get a glimpse of the ocean from my livingroom.

I got in for four days and then extended for another four, but they tell
me I'm out of luck tomorrow and will need to move out. I'm hoping there
will be a last minute cancellation so I can stay a bit longer. My wife
didn't get to enjoy it much during her short visit this weekend. Next
weekend is her long one so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Lessee, last month I visited The Stanley in CO where The Shining was
filmed and now I'm near Cape Fear.....that's too scary :-)

Actually we're north of the Cape Fear so we should be okay and I haven't
spotted DeNiro or Mitchem yet so I should be safe from the old and new
version :-)
