22.5" wheels on a seneca

Yahoo Message Number: 6825
Im thing about maybe doing a 10 lug 22.5 conversion on my Seneca. I would love to be able to get an 155/80/22.5 on the coach. I have a 2009 F450 4X4 that i also put the 10 lug 22.5"s on and it has done fine over the years. If i do the Seneca i will also change the Dif gear to the stock ratio.
My goal would be to get at least 2" and maybe more inches of ground clearance and have a better choice of tires. I don't think the center of gravity being 2.5 inches higher will be a drawback. If I do the mod i will re-do all the suspension with bags in front and back new shocks and maybe block the back axle leafs and the front.

I have not made my mind up yet.........if i do the mod it would be in the fall.

Its a bold mod so feel free to tell me how crazy it sounds

Thanks Bill

Why 4x4? Where are you going?..what about a locker for the rear? That sorts out 98% of getting anywhere.

Victor,
Lockers in the rear wont get you through the sand at Pismo beach here in California. I also want to do some extreme boondocking in the 34ss. I do that now in my f450 4x4 with the camper on it.
