I am looking to replace the sofa bed mattress in my RV's hide a bed with a more comfortable foam mattress. It is an odd size and the frame opening measures 46 1/2" X 71". The closest mattress that I can find is 48 X 72, Has anybody replaced their mattress with a foam mattress with these odd measurements? If so, where did you get yours from?

Regards,

David

I needed a new mattress for my boat a few years ago. Took the old mattress to Foam Factory. They made me a new one. You may not be able to use the same place. But there may be another company close to you.

I bought a short queen foam mattress topper and cut it to fit. I kept the existing mattress and put the 3 inch topper on top. The bed still folds as designed. My 30 year old "whinny daughter" said it was an improvement.
