All Gone!

Sorry guys, the brackets are now all gone. As far as I know, there was
only one who didn't get what he needed. If anyone ends up not needing
their right hand bracket, you might let Craig know.

Glad to hear they are trickling in to your mail boxes.

Still in upstate NY finishing up my mother's estate, but the auction
Saturday went well and we even managed to sell the house. Heading home
Wednesday or Thursday.

Take care,
Greg

Greg, I got back from our week at Orchard Beach SP (2 nights) and Traverse City SP (4 nights) to find that your special envelope had arrived. Sincere thanks.

In looking at the instructions and then at my NEW door, I see that the new door does not have this bracket. I was told by Randy Zonker that the new door is supposed to be stronger. Hopefully with the bracket it will not give us any more trouble.

It appears to me that installation time shouldn't be much over 10 minutes - is that the case? Anyone have any trouble putting it on?

Thanks again Greg.

Don

My pleasure, I think just about everyone has gotten theirs now. I
figured yours would be one of the last since it had to move thru customs.

It's my understanding that the new doors are molded differently or out
of some different material that is supposed to be stronger.....whether
that's case....who knows.

I think it will solve it from what I've seen so far. It spreads the load
out and off of the plastic. I've done a trip to CO and back to NC and
then a trip to NY and back with the door loaded just like nothing is
wrong and so far so good.

I'd say 10 minutes is about right. It's very simple and you won't have
any trouble. We won't need to get Ron to do all of our installs on this
one :-) Just remember to put the washer on the post before you set the
door back on it.

Take care,
Greg

10 minutes is about right and you don't have to completely remove the top hinge. Remove the bottom screw and back the top ones almost all the way out and the bracket will pivot enough to let the door come of. Just besure that you don't put too much angle on the door and crack the bottom hinge. I personally think that is what started most of the problems. When the door was installed the tech let it lean to much and started the crack. JMHO

I even wrapped it with another piece of Gorilla tape to be safe, just like we did to hold yours temporarily..

Gee Dave, maybe I'll wait and install my bracket on Monday Oct 25 when we are in the FMCA campground in Cinci. Hmmm, you live just up the road from there don't you. :)
