Duramax fuel filter light reset

FYI. Found out that there can be an occasional "glitch" when reseting the fuel filter service light using the accelerator and brake pedal, per the owners manual. The computer may not reset to 100% so you may have the light come on sooner than anticipated. If you have a GM/Chev dealer do your service have them reset using the Tech2 scanner. It shows them the percentage of reset.

Also the fuel filter service light (fuel/gas pump with dots and dashes under it) will not cause a "limp mode" but get it serviced as soon as possible...The water in fuel light (fuel/gas pump with water drops under it) is another matter, that can cause a limp mode and also can cause injector damage.
