Oil light on in cab

The reason we are thinking the Seneca needs an oil change is because the oil/service light in the cab is on. We have only about 6700 miles on the vehicle and it had an oil change in November when we bought it. We have only done less than 600 miles since November. The oil still looks fairly clean and it's full. Do we really need an oil change? How do we turn off the engine service light on the dash?

They probably didn't reset the the oil life when you last had it changed. Turn the ignition to run (do not start) press the accelerator all the way to the floor 3 times in 5 secs and it should reset.

Clearly (he says with confidence) it wasn't reset when the oil was changed in November.

You may not need a Oil Change. But about every 5-7000 miles you should lube the chassis
