There should be an interlocking relay for the slide. This ties to the e-brake or, seat position, etc with the slide motor (or hydro pump on hydro slides.). They will generally fail in safe mode, which is open, preventing something from operating.

It's just a 30a headlight relay. I'd recommend a 40a version for replacement. Had mine fail, put the 40a version in and no problems since.
