I'm considering a new Jayco Senaca HD with the 22 foot superslide.
With diesel fuel going up and up I'm thinking I'd rather have a gasser.
What kind of mileage should I expect pulling a 3,000 lb car with the
Duramax diesel, Allison 6 speed etc ?
I believe I read the Senaca series isn't available anymore with the 8.1
Chevy.

I have a 08 34SS with the Duramax pulling a 14 ft trailer at about that weight and I get 7.3 mpg at about 65mph avg. with 5,000 miles on the engine.

\13mpg when it does break in. My 6.6 on my truck did not break in
until 20K miles.

I love the SS slide as I saw it last week. Did not like the different
colored recliner and would have the factory match the other couch
colors.

I have the 08 35GS HD.

Rich,

Our 34SS w/ Duramax gets 10mpg while towing our 3640lb Saturn VUE on
the flatlands. We currently are approaching 5000 miles.

Dane, yours is a Duramax right? and what is the toad? I have the 6340Endura duramax/Allison 8k on it have long tripped yet but I know what I have seen so far No where near yours. Looking for hope!!!!!
