AZ Get together winter 2015.

Couple of things going on this winter. I/we will be spending the winter in Mesa AZ from December to April. My wife will be visiting a specialist for her health problems. This is a good thing. So far she has been able to keep it under control (over 15 years). The plan is to keep it that way.
Good Sam is having a Rally at PIR in March. The CW/GS Rally . Russ Hill and I have been discussing having a Pre Rally Get Together/meet and greet. At this time we do not have any final plans. Just conversation. Anyone interested please post here and we will work on the plan.
For those that have never attended a rally. This a great place to attend seminars on maintaining your RV and see some of the latest products available for RV's. Usually some good deals on the products. Also a great place to meet other RVer's.
I plan to attend, but will not be taking my RV to the rally grounds. That could change if GS makes me a offer to help at rally supporting RV.NET where I am one of their moderators.

Tina and I will be in AZ part of the winter. Will be in Phoenix area for Christmas, Quartzsite in late January. Taking an RV tour to Baja Mexico 2/10-3/18. Planning to do The Rally also. Did the Rally in 2012 and had a good time. Would be great to see you and Betty again. Where will you stay in Mesa? See you later.

We will be in AZ for the winter this year, too.

I would not be surprised to see a change of date for the GS/CW rally in Phoenix. PIR has scheduled a NASCAR Sprint Cup race for the 15th of March. That will make it nearly impossible to set up for a big rally in time.

Well as stated by Jim Guld the date for The Rally 2015 have changed.
February 26 to March 1, 2015 is the new date.

We would be interested in attending the rally and if there's a pre-rally get together would probably be interested in that also. Will be in Casa Grande mid-November through mid-March or thereabouts. We may see about Quartzite somewhere in there.

Just got off the phone with Mesa Spirit RV Resort in Mesa, AZ. They have sites available for a Rally. It is in a area where they set aside sites for Rally's.
We can have a pre rally there. Rate is $31 dollars a night. They want $500 deposit for the rally sites. I explained we did not have a club with a treasury to support that kind of deposit. They offered to work with us.
So, how many want to have a Pre Rally/Get together? February/22 to 25/2014. At Mesa Spirit RV Resort.

I'm interested. The sites are full service? I'm registered for the GS rally, so this would be a good lower-key chance to meet & greet.

Ron..............Count us in on attending. Feb 22,2015 is a Sunday. Where as Feb 25th is a Wednesday. I assume the Super 'C' rally would conclude early Wed. morn. allowing some of us to venture over to the GS Rally. If or Super 'C' rally concluded on Tue. the 24th. we would go to GS and have one day early admission. No matter what we'll attend..............russ

The dates are ones that I choose. We could start on any day and end on any date. Sites are full hookup. Inculding limited Dish Satellite and WIFI.
Since I will already be at the park dates can be flexible. According to person I talked to there should be sites available for short term. Between rally's that they schedule.
Let me know what the group would like. I am going to give our name "Super C RV Group" to the park after I get 5 or more RV's on the list. Then attendees can start making reservations.

I need a couple more commitments to attend the PRE Rally get together at Mesa Spirit RV Resort. Including myself there are 5. This get together will happen whether we get more attendees or not. Just arrangements with park will change.

Not sure what you are asking. I have not made any arrangements with Mesa Spirit RV Resort yet. Hoping to get more member to express a interest in attending. I will report back after November 1 what will be the plans at Mesa Spirit. I plan to go into Rally on the 25th and staying in the Boondock area. Staying until March 1. Then returning to Mesa Spirit.
