Re: horse power Reply #4 – February 01, 2015, 10:09:47 pm Yahoo Message Number: 14119Those are fascinating. When we were in Nappanee having McCormick do work on our Kodiak I had a chance to look a several cut away chassis - 6500 and 7500 Kodiaks. They really looked beefy and I must say I've always been surprised that none of the Kodiak MH manufacturers took the plunge to build a "real" good Super C with those chassis. To late now of course.I wonder if Ford will venture back in with the F750 again. Looks like it would be nice for towing a race trailer. I guess it is not up to Ford really - has to be one of the MH manufacturers.Don Quote Selected

Re: horse power Reply #6 – February 02, 2015, 10:26:35 am Yahoo Message Number: 14124It's more about torque. I would rather have a thousand foot pounds of torque and 250 horsepower than a thousand horsepower and 300 foot pounds of torque. My store coach was 330 horsepower and 600 foot pounds of torque and my new Cummins ISC is 300 horsepower and 1100 foot pounds of torque I would much rather have the latter Like you I cannot seem to find much information about that Coach that you are looking at. I would call Dynomax today and get the spec sheets off of that particular vehicle. I would also ask that dealer to send you a copy of the weight sticker inside of one of the closet or cabinet doors. ~Victor Burns KI6IM Embark TB390 Bunkhouse From:"Alice Smith alicefsmith1943@... It should not be hard to makes these work, but I decided against one coach due to full wall slide - it just looked too dodgy.
