Kodiak Cab Dome Light Replacement Question

Yahoo Message Number: 14273
I want to change out the dim blue LED cab/dome light below the back-up camera.

I pulled the light down but there is no apparent "bulb" to replace. It is wired as a single unit.

Has anyone done this?

Thanks,

Rob

If it looks like a all in one fixture. It may be LED. Look for a replacement fixture that will cover hole original fixture was mounted in.

Curious, how do you remove it? I've looked at it a few times and wondered how to remove it.

To remove, unscrew the lens or bulb cover. The light apparatus us held by two spring clips. I just pulled it straight down through the hole. I have attached four photos that may clarify.

Ok, I assume the piece that is removed is the black trim ring? That's what is visible on mine. A black trim ring with a lens in it.

Yes. That is correct. It is not shown in the pictures.
I have been online to try to find a similar bulb. No luck yet.......
