SuperSprings

Yahoo Message Number: 12110
We just purchased a 2008 Seneca and have discovered it only has the 15,000lb rear springs.  My question is, if we do the SuperSprings in the rear, will it fix the sag and some of the sway, or do we need to get the 19k lb springs first and then add the SuperSprings?

Also, looking to get a programmer, is the PPE the way to go?

Thanks in advance!

My opinion is go with the springs. It worked on mine. The coach rides much smoother no drag. Sway is only in strong wind and not scary like before.

Question to the Group. Could someone explain how to visually id the different springs by weight ratings??
Thanks Dynamo

On the 15k springs, all three leafs are the same thickness, on the 19k's the bottom leaf is noticeably thicker.

On this and other forums I have seen post that did various thing to the rear springs on Jayco Seneca's. They all seem to work.
I will try to list them all.
1. Get proper springs from GM.
2. Have a spring shop install custom built springs.
3. Install Super Springs.
4. Add a leaf to spring pack.

5. Install air bags.
For the backyard mechanic. Easiest may be air bags.

I have a similar set installed by McCormick Chevrolet. They did help. Just not sure how much. The help not control sway/roll more that load. I also installed a HD GM front sway bar at the same time. So I do not know which one did what.
