Warranty costs

Several years ago I was able to get a subscription to warranty week. This weeks letter is very interesting as it has 2 RV manufacturers. For reasons I'll try to explain a little later, the warranty rates as a % of sales are not that meaningful for RV manuacturers. In fact, they are MUCH higher as you will see. I've gone over this and my reasons for this view with Eric Arnum (owner of Warranty Week) and he quickly realized my logic was correct but there is nothing he can do to the reported figures to make them more meaningful.
