I'd like to thank everyone for their kind comments on the passing of
my mother (age 92).

Monday was a rather unusual day and perhaps it belongs in the Guinness
Book of World Records

Just after I received the phone call informing me of my mother's
passing, my wife received a call from her sister.

Her sister Jan and her husband Dave were on the way to the hospital
that morning (140 mile trip) to visit Dave's 96 year old mom when they
got a phone call informing them that she had passed away.

Sisters both lost their mother-in-law within 2 hours of each other and
both funerals are on Saturday.

It is a day we'd like to forget but will no doubt remember forever.
