Front TV

I think I recall that someone on this forum has replaced the large
front CRT TV with a flat screen model. Does that person or anyone else
know how these are mounted in the cabinet? What's required to remove
these beasts?
Thanks in advance
Pat

I replaced the CRT TV in our Endura. Just removed the existing TV by
taking out pieces of wood the held TV in place. Bought a heavy duty
universal LCD mount from Radio Shack. Mount was expensive. But it
holds TV in place while traveling. Looked into using base mount
provided by TV manufacture. But TV was not mounted solid enough to be
used when traveling.

I have also replace out CRT TV with an LCD in our Four Winds 34H. I
had to remove a side panel in the cabinet to access the TV. There was
a metal bracket screwed to the top of the TV and to the cabinet. And
also some screws in the base to the bottom of the cabinet.

The new LCD is secured with a bracket to the from of the cabinet.

David, I just got back from a 3000+ East Coast trip, and think
replacing the front TV is a must do project. You don't happen to have
an pictures of the installed TV or possibly of the mount+TV do you.
Thanks in Advance

I mounted a 27" LCD HD TV similar to Davids. Looks like we both used
same Omni mount that I got a Radio Shack. This mount is not cheap. But
does a great job of mounting TV.
Set bracket inside of cavity for old tube TV. Put spacers behind front
face to get TV mounted in center of opening. Holes is picture were put
in to give access to top bolts in rear of cabinet.
Here is link to my photo's.

Thanks to both David and Ron for posting the pictures. I can't wait to
jump in here and remove that squeaking TV.
