Speedometer

I have had a problem with the speedometer on my 04 Endura since I got
it. Reads 10 MPH +- less than actual speed as verified by my GPS. I
finally got it to a MDT Chevy dealer last week. It took them a week
and a call to Chevy Tech, but they got a new program, installed, and
now all is well.

What model Endura and engine do you have?

Our Kodiak speedometer is correct. But odometer is off. About .5 miles
every 10 miles. Cannot under stand why. But I am not going to complain.
Sent you a email.

Our Endura is a 2004 6340EH - Engine is Chevy 8.1 Gas. It is,
interestingly enough, still in warrenty. Put in Service in Sept. 06.

Speedo, GPS and ScanGauge II all read the same for speed for ours. What surprised me is that there is almost a 1% difference between the ScanGauge and the odometer (odometer reads higher). One would have thought that the sources would have been the same but obviously they aren't. Question is which is right and which is wrong? On the return north in April I think I'll check a number of measured miles on the highway. Will also check against the GPS but it can short change when going through areas (not many) where satellite signals disappear so I'll try to pick a nice long section with few large trees.

Who makes the instrument panel? Our previous MH was on a Workhorse
chassis and the instrument panel was made by Atica and there were
numerous reported problems with it.
