DSS pre wire

Yahoo Message Number: 1107
I have a 05 Gulfstream Endura 6378. It is prewired for DSS. Does
anyone know where the cable is located. I need the location on the
roof so I know where to mount the dish. I am also looking for input on
which dish to buy. I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,
Phillip

I was told the DSS prewire is basically the coax plug at the back of
the coach somewhere in your storage compartment and then a cable in the
TV area. It is basically useless for a rooftop mounted dish. It is
basically for hooking into cable at a campground or a tripod mounted
dish. Hope that helped.

I have a 06 Gulfstream 6340 Endura. I have a Wingard Movin View (stationary). I am very pleased with it , type in a zip code it finds satellite max signal perfect. Mounted in the center of the roof all wiring is secured along the roof and drops through a transition plate above the entertainment area.
I also have a manually set up dish for when you don't have a clear view of southern sky, this happens is probably 30% of the time. You just have to clear those trees. Subscribe to Dish network have yet to have a problem as long as we traveled with satellite 4+ years.
